Fourth Annual Sweet Confections Baker's Contest

     The Fourth Annual Sweet Confections Baker’s Contest, sponsored by City Bakery, Nu Era Bakery and the Earl Ray Tomblin Convention Center managed by All in Good Taste will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2005 during the 33^rd Annual Logan County Arts, Crafts, and Antiques Festival.

     Ribbons will be awarded for entries in the following category: cake division, pie division, cookies and candy division. 

     Participants must have their baked goods at the Logan Memorial Field House by 10:30 a.m.  Judging will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Winners will be announced on stage.

     Any church group entering at least two of the three categories may make arrangements to sell their church cookbooks during the baker’s contest by contacting the Logan County Chamber of Commerce office.  Any church or organization participating must have a designated representative available to sell their cookbooks.

     There is no entry fee.  First, second, and third place ribbons will be awarded in each category.
